MURPHY, Genevieve (Jean) (O’Reilly)– Passed away at the Placentia Health Care Centre, on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, Mrs. Genevieve (Jean) Murphy, age 71 years of Placentia, formerly of Markland. Predeceased by her husband Pius, parents Kathleen and William O'Reilly, (Markland), brothers: William Jr., Kevin and Michael, and little sister Rosemary. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Lester (Linda) and children: Kimberley and Bradley, Grand Bank, Muriel (Chris) and children: Ashley and Ryan, Colorado, USA and Sharon (Glen) and children: Sherry Lee and Colby, Placentia, brother Rudolph (wife Shirley deceased), Markland, her sisters: Marg (Adrian) Hickey, Freshwater, Gertrude (Gervey) Smith, Louisiana, USA, Shelagh (Clarence) Mercer, Whitbourne, Joni (John) Collins, St. John’s, and Colleen (Edwin) Cumby, St. John’s; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia, on Wednesday, January 21, 2009, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m., Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 2009.
