The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, January 21, 2009, of Doris Jean (Dode) Wellner of Charlottetown, age 89 years. The only child of James Hibbert Howatt and Ella M. Cameron Howatt. Wife of the late L.E. (Buzz) Wellner, Earle G. MacLeod and Neil Allan (Curly) MacLellan. She leaves to mourn her children, Diane MacLellan, Cathie (Brian) Arsenault and Ronald (Dr. Deborah) MacLellan; grandchildren, Natasha MacFadyen, Kirk (Dr. Fabienne) MacFadyen, Dr. James Darcy (Lyndsay) MacLellan, Christopher Lee (Moira) MacLellan, Heather Nicole MacLellan and Megan Jean MacLellan; great-grandchildren, Jonas Lee MacLellan and Justin Charles Rondeau MacFadyen. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment later in Sherwood Cemetery.
