Krista Reid of Hillsborough passed away on Tuesday, March 31 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Albert, she was the daughter of Lana (Fullerton) and the late Clifford Wilbur (2014).
Krista was full of life and could light up any room with her smile. She loved spending time with family and friends. Halloween being her favourite unofficial holiday, you could always count on her to liven up a party decked out head to toe in her costume. If you knew Krista you knew she loved everything Disney. Having been to Disney several times, she knew the theme park inside and out. She took great pride in planning those family trips and had just as much fun capturing every moment with her camera. There was so much more to Krista than her fun-loving personality. She was a Legal Assistant with Bingham Robinson, a former Chairperson for the PSSC for Hillsborough Elementary School and did not hesitate to speak out confidently within the community regarding other issues she was passionate about, including her stance against the fracking movement.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Scott; daughter, Cadence; son, Quinn; mother, Lana; sister, Shelley (Hubert) Despres of Riverside Albert; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a long list of cherished friends.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Hillsborough Baptist Church (26 Braam Cres.) on Friday, from 1:30 to 5:00pm. A service celebrating Krista’s life will take place from the church on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 1:00pm with Rev. Carol Mullin and Rev. Dean MacDonald officiating.
Donations made to an educational fund for Krista’s children would be greatly appreciated by the family.
