PEPPERDENE, DR. BARBARA JOAN (Ph. D.)
April 1, 1937 - April 1, 2015
Dr. Barbara Pepperdene passed away peacefully at home with her daughter and two of her nieces surrounding her.
Dr. Pepperdene, proud mother to Angela Pepperdene, Halifax and Glen Pepperdene (Brittnee), Richibucto; doting grandmother to Zachary, Arianna, Makaila and Chloe; younger sister to Joyce O' Dell and Richard (Dick) Pepperdene (Jean); and beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Dr. Pepperdene was predeceased by her siblings Kenneth, Katharine and David Pepperdene.
Dr. Pepperdene received her Doctorate as a theorist in Occupational Sociology, and the majority of her teaching career was at the University of New Brunswick, in Fredericton. Dr. Pepperdene was a member of the Anglican Church in Fredericton and Toronto, and her Christian faith governed her life.
A memorial service will be held at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W., Toronto (2 stop lights west of Yonge St.) on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 11:00a.m with a reception to follow.
