JANES, Phyllis– Passed peacefully away on Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre, in the presence of her loving family, Phyllis Janes, age 76 years. Predeceased by husband Archibald, February 1987, sons Gary, March 2000 and William, August 2007. Leaving to mourn with fond and treasured memories her daughters Marilyn (Jerome) Hearn, Sandra (Melvin) Bishop, Darlene (Albert) Poelman and Tina; son Robert (Lydia); eighteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Also left with loving memories are brother Wayne Dawe and sisters Gladys Jennings and Eleanor Dawe; their children; a special friend Ruby Parrott; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Wednesday, January 21 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Thursday, January 22 from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Funeral service to take place at 11 a.m. on Friday from Holy Innocents Church, Paradise.
