Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's, NL. Predeceased by her mother and father; Margaret and Herbert Bruce. Left to mourn are her husband Mac; her son Patrick; her sisters Gloria (Leo); and Linda (Eric); her brother Ken (Marilyn); and Herbert; her sisters-in-law Delores (John); Elaine (Angus); Katherine (Donald); Marie (Robert); Maureen (Keith); and brother-in-law; Alfred. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Sean Martin and the wonderful nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre. At Glenys' request there will be no funeral or visitation and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society's Daffodil Place.
