Passed away suddenly at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, Ontario on March 18th, 2008 at the age of 85. He was a longtime resident of Clarenville, Newfoundland and worked for 42 years with CN Rail before retiring in 1983. Jim has been a loving and devoted husband of Jessie for 61 years and father of Ruth (Bryan), Barbara (Ron), Paul (Joan), Lorna and Michael. Predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Annie; and brothers: Bob, Bill, Charles, and Roy. Brother of Don, Jean Tilley and Rona Baker. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Nicole, David, Dwayne, Tara, Robert, Jason, Karla, Benjamin and his great grandchildren: Dylan and Chloe. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fewers Funeral Home, Clarenville, Newfoundland. Visitation on Sunday, March 23 from 2-4, and 7-9. Funeral service on Monday, March 24 at 2 pm.
