MALONEY, Charles (Charlie)– Passed peacefully away surrounded by his devoted family on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at the Palliative Care Unit, Charles Maloney (Charlie) age 88 years, just 10 days short of his 89th Birthday. Predeceased by his wife Nell (Stack), June 10, 1986, his father and mother Joseph and Emily (Finney) Maloney. Leaving to mourn his loving daughters Marie Raymond (Frank) and Marguerite Murphy; his special and loving grandchildren: Frank Jr. (Jody), Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Charlie (Debbie), Nancy (Fred) and Marie (Karl), Toronto, Ontario; four precious great-grandchildren: Jeremy, Xavier, Frederick and Arielle. Also leaving brothers-in-law: Bill Grady, Bedford, Nova Scotia, Jim Christie, Napanee, Ontario; sisters-in-law: Lucy Morey and Stella Laidley, as well as several caring nephews and nieces and special friends Dale and Helen Smith. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday and Friday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 24th, at 9:30 a.m., from St. Patrick’s Church, Patrick Street. Cremation to follow. Inurnment at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
