Passed away peacefully April 4th, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Pauline Catherine Hickey. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Norah (Cleary), and brothers Thomas (Mollie), Hubert and Basil (Marlene). Leaving to mourn her sister Margaret Grouchey and sister-in-law Laura Hickey and nieces and nephews Donald (Bertha), David (Barbara), Ann Coleman (David), Gary Gruchey (Bernadette) and Sheila Wilson (Glen), Thomas (Lori) and Katharine Walsh (Jim) as well as many grand nieces and nephews. Pauline worked with the Federal Civil Service for many years. She had a great love for gardening and animals and spent many years tirelessly volunteering for many charities, particularly the SPCA. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Clare's for the wonderful care Pauline received. Visitation at Carnell's funeral home 329 Freshwater Rd. from 7-9PM on Thursday, April 9. A service in her memory will be held in the Carnell Memorial chapel at 11:00AM on Friday, April 10. Interment of ashes to follow in Belvedere Cemetery.
