Passed away peacefully in Fort McMurray, Alberta (formally of West Bay, Newfoundland). Bernard leaves to mourn his wife Sarah and son Charlie, sisters; Cecilia (Joe) Hinks, Vivian (John) Downey, Hilda Marlatte, Lillian Hamblin, Madonna (William) Skinner; Madeleine Skinner and brother Arthur (Theresa) Gastia. Also, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Mariange and Eileen Gastia, brother Howard and Sister Theresa.
