Martin Lawrence Kennedy, Chilliwack B.C., an avid fisherman, died suddenly on April 5, 2015, at the age of 61.
He was born in Little Lorraine to Alex and Sara.
He is survived by his wife Elsie of 40 years, Rambo, Ann (Jack) Clare, Brian (Susan), Kevin, Kenneth (Vernice), Michael (Sharon), and John; brothers-in-law, Roy (Audrey), Johnnie (Cyndi), Danny (Tina); sisters-in-law, Phyllis (Richie) Drinkwater, Juanita (Jeff) MacKeigan, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Alex and Sara (McNeil), his sisters, Mary Slade and Regina Lahey; in-laws, Tom and Myra (Crews) Kennedy, Mike, Faye, Tommy and Winston Slade.
He often took on unwanted and difficult projects around the house (he should of bought shares in Home Depot), loved travelling and a passionate Wayne Gretzky collector. He will be greatly missed by his brother Brian, his fishing buddies, and especially to those, who loved when the garage door opened.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday in Chilliwack, and at the Louisbourg Legion on April 19th at 1 p.m. in Louisbourg.
