ZANIDEAN: It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Yamna. Yamna passed peacefully surrounded by family at the Swift Current Care Centre. Yamna is survived by her husband Ali of 72 years; her seven children Jodat, Hussein, Sam (Linda), Mohamid Moe (Daphine), Newell (Bing), Zanie (Peter), Amy (Carson), and Farage Frank (Sandy); 14 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. Mom enjoyed being surrounded by loved ones, filling the table with food and the house with laughter. We will never forget. Thank you for the care our mother received and the love and support we continue to receive. Special thank you to Sam and Newell for the personal commitment to mom. Special thank you to Jackie Vanstone and her staff at Swift Current Care Centre. Special thank you to all the doctors, nurses, volunteers, and especially Dr. Bartsch. The Funeral Service was held, Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm from the Islamic Centre of Swift Current, with Sheik Jamal Hammoud officiating. The pallbearers were Darrald Zanidean, Blake Zanidean, Lorne Zanidean, Frank Zanidean, Michael Zanidean, Kevin Nand, Brad Gustason and Bing Knight. The interment service took place at Hillcrest Cemetery. Warren's Funeral Home in care of the arrangements.
