GUTHRO, M. Geraldine “Gerry”
The family of the late Gerry Guthro wish to express our sincere appreciation to our family and friends who provided support and comfort during our recent loss. Your messages of sympathy through cards, phone calls, emails, visits, food, flowers, memorial donations and prayers were greatly appreciated.
Special thanks to Rev Glen Matheson, the organist and choir of the First Presbyterian Church for the comforting service. Thank you to our friend Janice Alcorn for sharing her truly gifted voice, singing two beautiful solo’s during the service.
As a member and past president of the Church Guild, Gerry spent many hours in the church kitchen preparing luncheons and meals and would really appreciate all the effort, planning and care that the Circle of Friends put into the lovely luncheon after the service.
Nannie “G” would have been so proud of her grandchildren who served as her pall bearers; Leslie, Angie, Jeff, Daniel, Mallory and Dustin, and for Mallory reading a special poem that Nannie loved.
Special thanks to Sister Mary McMahon for her comforting words during our difficult time. We would also like to thank the staff at Glen Haven Manor for taking care of our mother for the past few years.
