OLIVER, Mary Bernadette (nee Barrett)– Passed away suddenly at her home in St. John’s on Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Patrick Joseph Oliver. Leaving to mourn sons: Shawn Oliver (Marilyn), Labrador City, Garrett Oliver, St. John’s; daughter Catherine Oliver, St. John’s; sisters: Helen Rice, Torbay, Alice O’Neill (Olaf), Chamberlains, Josephine Cody, Cambridge, Ontario; sisters-in-law: Theresa Fifield and Kay Finn; three grandchildren: James, Krista and Patrick Oliver and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 24, at 2 p.m. from Roncalli Chapel, Airport Heights Drive, St. John’s. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
