ABBOTT, Robert J. – Passed away with his devoted wife of 43 years, Winnie, by his side in Elmira, New York on January 21, 2009, at the age of 64 years. Predeceased by his son Robert Michael in 1969. Left with fond memories and his wonderful sense of humor are his children: Suzanne Hillier (Anthony), Joan Gregorski (Steven), and Jay Abbott (Meghan); his beloved grandchildren: Tim and Jon Hillier, Stella and Jack Gregorski, and Cohlee Abbott; his brothers: John (Alice), Bill (Helen) and Ed (Sheila) and their families; his loving mother-in-law Joan Jefford and the whole Jefford family. A celebration of his life will take place at All Saints Church in Foxtrap on Sunday, February 1st at 2 p.m.
