LYNDS, ELLA MAE
Ella Mae Lynds, 101, of the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville, and formerly of Mountain Road, Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, April 20, 2015.
Born in Bryant’s Corner, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Robinson) Ward. Ella attended Moncton Gospel Hall, enjoyed quilting, catering, baking, organizing the Bible School for the children at the family farm in Bryant’s Corner and was the unofficial caregiver for her family.
Ella will be sadly missed by her daughter, Katherine (Kaye) Bulmer of Moncton; granddaughter, Cynthia Robinson (John); great grandson, Andrew Robinson (Amy).
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Lynds (1983); sisters, Violet, Mary and Margaret; brothers, Fred, Edward and Russell; sons-in-law, Wayne Jones (1981) and Jack Bulmer (2014). She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 12:30 to 1:20 pm, followed immediately by a Service to Celebrate Ella’s life at 1:30 pm with Mr. Bill Swan officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
