CORBETT, Anne (Anastasia) (nee Hawco)– January 7, 1921 to January 22, 2009. Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, Thursday, January 22, 2009, surrounded by her loving family, Anne Corbett, age 88 years. Predeceased by her parents Magistrate Matthew Hawco and Mary Ann Hawco, two brothers and three sisters. Left to celebrate and cherish her life are her six children with their spouses and partners: Dan (Jeanie Sawyer), Bob (Judy), Annette (Henry Tchir), Maureen (Norma Baker), Tony (Leona), Libby (Pat Angel); her 14 grandchildren whom she adored: Krista, Deanne and Scott Corbett; Paul, Bobbie and Chris Corbett; Leslie and Vanessa Tchir; Ryan, Liam and Colleen Corbett; Jeremy, Erika and Samantha Tuck; four great-grandchildren whom she cherished: Jack and Cole Corbett, Sam Corbett and Zoe Muehlberger-Corbett; her sister Sr. Annette Hawco RSM; numerous nieces, nephews and friends and her two feline companions Abby and Mr. Max. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Friday 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius X Church on Monday, January 26, at 9:30 a.m. Cremation and private inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood.
