Born Aug. 19, 1939, Mom was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt who loved and lived for her family. The joy of Mom’s life was meeting the needs of those she loved. She was a great cook and hosted many special occasions and loved feeding whoever was present at “Grannie’s Country Kitchen." Mom, along with Dad (John), owned and operated JB’s Dairy on Convent Street for many years before retiring in 1995. Mom had a great respect for others and was loved and respected by all who crossed her path on a daily basis at the dairy. Mom will always be remembered in the neighbourhood for the “Hiking Day Special” that so many looked forward to each year.
