GEORGE, William (Bill) Malcolm – (July 19, 1952 - January 21, 2009). Passed away in the company of his immediate family and friends on January 21, 2009, at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Bill was born and educated in St. John’s, NF and started his 35 year career there with Canada Post in 1972. In 1994, Bill moved to Prince George, B.C., retiring in 2007. He is predeceased by his parents Cyril (Sid) and Jean George and infant sister, Marilyn. He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Amanda and Jessica, and their mother Nora, his sister Ruth (Ernest Cluett) and brother Lloyd as well as many nieces and nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will take place at Lakewood Funeral Home, 1055 Ospika Blvd., Prince George, on January 26, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice or P.G. Hospice Society.
