Alexander John Clark 'Alex', 53, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015, in Niagara Falls General Hospital (Ontario).
Raised in Bras d'Or/Florence, Cape Breton, by his mother Annie (LeBlanc) and Alfred Carey stepfather. The son of the late John (Donnie) Clark.
Alex is survived by his daughter Monique Clark, (Ontario); sister Sherry (Glen) Alderson, Alberta; aunts Janie Gouthro (Ontario), whom Alex loved like a mother, Mary (Jackie) Matthews, Barbara Ann (James) Proctor; his nieces Maranda Alderson and Melissa Clark.
Alex was preceded by his brother Joseph Glenn Clark, aunts Eve McLennan, Eileen Royal, uncles Gerald Clark and Robert Clark.
Alex sailed on the Great Lakes for many years. He had a passion for singing and working on cars. He was always trying to fix something.
Service will be held at Holy Family Parish, 9 MacKay St., Sydney Mines, Wednesday, April 29, at 10:30 a.m.
