ANDERSON, MELBA
Mrs. Melba Mae Anderson, formerly of Apohaqui, passed away on April 25, 2015 at the age of 93. Melba was the daughter of the late Medley and Jennie Mason and the wife of the late Fletcher Anderson who passed away in 1999.
Melba will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Jennifer Kaye (Douglas) of Smith Creek and Barbara Singh (Yogi) of New Maryland; her son, Wayne Anderson (Carol Anne) of Apohaqui; her brothers: David,Warren and Dallas; her sisters: Ruth Goodman and Gladys O'Donnell; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Melba was predeceased by her husband Fletcher; her brothers: Vaughn, Gerald and Reginald and her sisters, Lola Hutchins and Velma Bowers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Monday, April 27th, 2015 from 1 to 3pm and 6 to 8pm. Sussex Legion Branch #20 will be holding a tribute on Monday evening at 5:45pm. A private family service will be held at a later date.
