Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Saturday, April 25, 2015, Rance Skiffington of Clarenville, (formally of Amherst Cove), aged 89 years. Predeceased by his wife Myra, brothers Gordon, Joseph and sister Marjorie. Left with fond and loving memories his children; Marjorie Alexander of Clarenville, Barbara (Mac Hayward), of Newman‘s Cove, Donna (Barry Boussey) of Amherstburg, ON, and Colin (Bonnie), of London, ON, grandchildren; Alison, Lynn, Chad, Blair, Sarah, Christopher, and Alyssa, great grandchildren; Danette, Shawna, Zachary, Isaac, Savannah, Katelyn, Lyla, Brynn, sister Edna Gillingham (Clayton), sisters-in-law; Mildred Little (Ancel), Mildred Skiffington, step-sister-in-law Tryphena Fordham, step-brother in law Wade Ford (Gail), and cousin Paul Benger (Bernice), foster children, Sonia Layden-Howse, Cynthia Layden-Barron, Diane Collins as well as nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place 2 P.M. on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Amherst Cove.
