BABINEAU, VICKIE LYNN
Vickie Lynn Babineau, 56, of Moncton, passed away at her residence on Saturday, April 25, 2015. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Douglas Long and the late Sarah Wisted.
Vickie was an Administrative Assistant at Moncton Youth Impact with 25 years’ service. While her children were growing up, she loved to watch them play sports and was their biggest cheerleader, never missing a game. She loved her cats, travelling, shopping and spending precious time with her grandchildren.
Vickie will be sadly missed by her daughter, Mandy Babineau and sons, Josh Babineau and Joel Babineau (Cassandra), all of Moncton; grandchildren, Dawson and Ryker Babineau; sisters, Joyce Long and Faye Brown (Rob) of Moncton, Debbie Nichols of Vancouver, BC, Muriel Ferguson (John) of Oakville, ON, Irene Babineau of Ontario and Bernice Babineau of Moncton; special friends, Gail, Norma, Ronna, Mae Lisa and Cara; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her brother, Douglas Babineau and nephew, Russell Long.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate Vickie’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 1:30 pm. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
In Vickie’s memory, donations to ca-r-ma (Cat Rescue Maritimes) or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
