Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre on Monday, April 27, 2015. Marie Murphy, aged 75 years, predeceased by her husband Bill Murphy; parents Gerald and Bridget Connolly; brothers Dave and Gary and her sisters Gertrude and Shirley. Marie leaves behind with fond and loving memories, her sons Bill (Michele) and Ron (Rhonda); grandchildren Chad, Mackenzie, Madison and Kristen; her brother Patrick (Josephine) and a large circle of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the L.A. Miller Centre for their care and compassion. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 6-9 pm and Thursday from 12-4 pm and 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place from Holy Rosary Parish, Portugal Cove at 2:30 pm on Friday, May 1, 2015 with interment to follow at the Holy Rosary Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Marie's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
