WALSH, Bridget (Biddy) – After a long noble fight with Parkinson’s Disease, her body couldn’t fight any longer. On Friday, January 23, 2009, surrounded by her loving family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Bridget “Biddy” Walsh of Kilbride passed peacefully away. Welcoming her into heaven is her father Jack McDonald. Left with a heavy heart, the love of her life, Leo; son Michael (Frankie); daughters: Karen (Keith), Callista (Mike), Elaine (Ken); loving grandchildren: Jared, Scott and Alanna Walsh, Kyle and Deidre Rees, Michaelea Silver and Nicholas Walsh. Her heartbroken mother, Mary McDonald; brother Tom McDonald (Mary) and a circle of family and constant friends, too numerous to name. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Saturday from 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church, Waterford Bridge Road. Interment to follow at the R.C. Kilbride Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Parkinson’s Society NL Chapter.
