Suddenly and peacefully with family by her side at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, April 27, 2015 Lois Muriel Crane (nee Llewellyn) of Victoria Cross, aged 79.
Born in Albion February 25, 1936, daughter of the late William and Essie (Creed) Llewellyn; wife of the late Wendell Alfred Crane.
Survived by her children, Ricky (Kathy), Brooklyn; Joanne (Sterling Thompson), Deer Lake, NFLD; Rosemary, Victoria Cross; Wilmalea Baltus (Keith), Prince George, B.C.; Wendy Crane-Hicken (Charles), Sturgeon; grandchildren, Jodie Lea Bryand (Cliff Dorion), Erik Waterman (Ashley Christianson), Gina Crane (Ryan Courte), Chrissey Crane; step-granddaughter, Melissa Jayne Grundy; great-grandsons, Grayson Guindon, Owen and Jackson Dorion, Seth Waterman. Survived by her dear sister, Bertha Crane, Glenwood, N.S.; sisters-in-law, Joyce Llewellyn, Edmonton, Alberta, Isabell Vaerewyck (Fred), Union Road, Beatrice Campbell, Stratford, Shirley Peterson, Riverton; and beloved nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her dear friend and companion, Curtis Beaton Sr., and Nana's Little Buddy, Rhudy.
Predeceased by her husband, Wendell; sister, Areta (George) Jenkins; brother, Lloyd Llewellyn; brothers and sister-in-law, Bennett Crane, Ralph Nicholson and Hannah (Donald) Shaw.
Resting at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Friday at 3 p.m. Interment will be in Lorne Valley Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or Lorne Valley Cemetery Fund.
