Mrs. Genevieve A. Jardine (nee Freeman) of Stratford, age 80 years, died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, January 22, 2009. Beloved wife of Robert E. (Bob) Jardine, and dear mother of Susan Jardine, Andrew (Connie Chan) Jardine, and Janet (Bob Rowsell) Jardine. She will also be remembered by two loving grandchildren, Rebecca and Lisa Jardine, numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her son James Jardine, parents Correll and June (Anderson) Freeman, and brother Donald Freeman. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday morning at St. Paul\'s Anglican Church at 11 a.m. Interment later in the family plot at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley. If so desired, memorial contributions in Genevieve\'s memory may be made to the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. No visitation by personal request.
