Peacefully at The Charlotte Residence on Sunday, January 25, 2009, of Mrs. Annie Kathleen Mullen (nee MacDonald) of Charlottetown and formerly of Mount Stewart in her 102 year. Beloved wife of the late Daniel \"Danny\" Mullen and dear mother of Aletha (Frank) Rossiter, Jane (Buddy) MacIntyre and Judy (Wayne) Moores. Mrs. Mullen will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her grandchildren; Dan (Anne) Rossiter, Bob (Maureen) Rossiter, Gerry (Linda) Rossiter, Lisa (Stephen) Miller, Geoff (Donna) MacIntyre, Jason (Megan) Moores, Josh Moores (Trinda Cookson); her 14 great-grandchildren; her sister, Aletha Morrison; and sister-in-law, Edith Mullen; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Dr. John C. and Helen (Egan) MacDonald, she was predeceased by her son, John Mullen; sisters, Marion Callaghan, Helen Cummiskey; and her brother, Arthur MacDonald. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 10:15 a.m. Friday, then transferred to St. Andrew\'s Church, Mount Stewart, for funeral mass at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in the family plot at St. Andrew\'s Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Annie\'s memory can be made to St. Andrew\'s Parish Cemetery Fund or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
