BAUMANN, LAWRENCE RUDOPH –

DIED April 8, 2015 at the Swift Current Palliser Hospital. BORN- July 30, 1933 in Vanguard, Saskatchewan. Four children, April and husband, Tim, of Calgary, .AB, Ross and wife, Sharon, of Fort Chippewa, AB., Mark and wife, Corinne, of Saskatoon and Lance of Swift Current, survive him, also 6 grandchildren Jackie of Houston, TX., Trevor, of Ottawa and Kellie Fenton of Calgary and Stephen, James and Erika Baumann of Saskatoon, one great grandchild, maverick Timothy, who arrived April 10, to four siblings Yvonne Benesh of Saskatoon, Leo Baumann of Medicine Hat, Frances Heise of Edmonton and Frank Baumann of Swift Current and 36 nieces and nephews.
He slept peacefully as the wings of an angel took him from us to be with his wife, Erika, who passed May 1988, his mother and father, Frank and Julia Baumann and his sister Margaret Lewans who predecease him.
Lawrence lived a life of little wants or needs. He had a contagious laugh that radiated throughout a room. You always knew where he was. He was a local business owner and operator of the Klip and Kurl. He loved coaching his sons in youth sport, hockey and baseball. He enjoyed friends, family, curling, barbeques in the backyard, his acreage, wildlife, fishing, his pets and gardening.
He was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
