Craig, Ron

Passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on January 31, 2015 at the age of 60.  He is survived by his loving family, daughter Candice of Okanagan Falls; granddaughter Renaya; sister Brenda Craig of West Kelowna; niece Nicole (Chris) Kovalcik and their children; nephews Chris and Shane Worsley.  Predeceased by his parents Richard and Wilhelmina.  Ron grew up on a farm in Eatonia, SK and at the age of 14 started driving.  He was the happiest driving a grater and worked in road construction and maintenance his whole life.  Ron was a proud father to Candice and she was his pride and joy.  Ron lived his life his way.  He will be dearly missed.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 202-1835 Gordon Drive, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 3H5.  Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.springfieldfuneralhome.com, 250-860-7077.
