It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thelma McCarthy announce her passing on Sunday May 10, 2015 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook , NL at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son: George Pye, sisters: Claudine Barnes, Rose (Tom) Vincent, brothers: Irving (Betty) Pye, Clayton (Gladys) Pye, Eric (Joan) Pye and a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and very special niece Darlene Barnes Jones. She was predeceased by her husband Bernard, parents: George (Ida) Pye, sister Helen Marie Doman, and brother- in- law: Gerald Barnes. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday May 11th, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday May 12th, at 10:30 AM from Fillatre's Funeral Chapel St. Marks Avenue with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating, interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
