The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Halifax, N.S., on Friday, May 15, 2015 of Constance “Connie” Clair (nee Gaudet) of Charlottetown, age 87 years.
Beloved wife of the late Frederick G. “Fred” Clair, and dear mother of Bill Clair (Mary Batstone) of Kitchener, ON, Mike Clair (Sharon) of Windsor Junction, N.S., Colleen Clair (Wayne Hodder) of Lower Sackville, N.S., and Sally (Robert) Taylor of Charlottetown. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Stephanie (Nathan) McHugh, Caitlin Clair (Lee Power), and Kerry Lynn (Daniel) Smith; four great-grandchildren, Emily Taylor, Gracie Smith, Jacob Smith and Ethan McHugh; sister, Phyllis MacDonald; brother, Bill (Lola) Gaudet; and sister-in-law, Eileen (Alan) McCann.
She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Ashley; brother, Jack Gaudet; and her parents, Cornelius and Florence (nee King) Gaudet.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Thursday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.

Visiting hours on Wednesday 4-7 p.m. Members of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Women’s League will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Wednesday at 3:45 p.m.
