It is with great sadness that the family of the late Carl D. Pilgrim of Roddickton announces his passing on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility in his 80th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 54 years Muriel (nee Penney); children Craig (Wendy) Pilgrim, Carolyn Pilgrim (Leaton Compton), Peter (Alyssa) Pilgrim and Karla Pilgrim (Amanda Baird); grandchildren Luke, Jill, Andrew, Aaron, Alex, Shaleigh and Lucas; sisters and brother Grace Brophy, Earl (Beatrice) Pilgrim, Iris Filler (Alvone Sutton) and Ramona (Ivan) Manuel; sister-in-law Eileen Canning, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Norman and Winnifred Pilgrim, stepfather Tobias Canning and brother Junior Canning. Friends visited the Apostolic Faith Church in Roddickton on Wednesday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service was held on Friday, May 15 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Rene Cassell officiating.
