Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Monday, March 24, 2008, Robert Arthur Osmond. Aged 76 years. Predeceased by his parents: Jessie and Cyril Osmond; infant grandson Carter (June 9, 2007) and father-in-law Maxwell Smith. Leaving to mourn with fond memories his loving wife and companion of 35 years Margaret (nee Smith); his three loving and adored children: Susan Wells (Paul), Cathy (Robert Bishop) and Robert Jr.; mother-in-law Angelia Smith; sisters: Ruth (Glen), Joan (John), Ethel (Gus), Dorothy (Ernie) and Florence (Jim); brother Eric Osmond (Anne); sister-in-law Sarah Earles (Clarence - deceased); brother-in-law Phillip Smith (Grace); also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and then on Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service to be held from St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (The Kirk) on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. No flowers by request.
