BARNES, Clifford– Passed peacefully away at home, aged 79 years, Clifford Barnes. Predeceased by his beloved wife Rose (nee Samms). Leaving to mourn his loving family, Ruby (Sam), Shirley, Zena (Denis), Garry (Bonnie), Brian (Betty Ann), Hubert (Donna), Roger (Angela), Shawn (Lori); grandchildren: Janette, Gale, Christina (Christopher), Melissa, Ian (fiancee Candace Kelly), Clifford, Adam, Justin, Rosanna and Nathan; great-grandchild Jordan Rose; sisters and brother Shirley Critch (Charlie), Valda Boland, Mildred Carter, Hector Barnes, Ruby Slaney (Con), as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Family will be receiving visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday, January 26 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Tuesday, January 27 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service from St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Logy Bay Road on Wednesday, January 28 at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
