LITTLE, ANNA ELEANOR
The passing of Anna Eleanor Little of York Mills, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, May 29, 2015. Anna was born September 10, 1921 in York Mills, NB, the daughter of the late Clarence and Mayme (Wilkin) Little.
In addition to being a dedicated wife and mother, Anna worked from home as the bookkeeper of the family business. She had a keen interest in world affairs and was an avid reader. Anna also loved to sew and her home and wardrobe provided evidence of her artistry. She also very much enjoyed painting.
Anna was very attached to her home and community. She spent many hours enjoying the seasonal changes in scenery and wildlife on the Upper Mill Pond, a view she took in from her bay window.
In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by her husband Claude Little and her son C. James (Jimmy) Little.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Jane Briggs (Kris), Magaguadavic, NB; daughter-in-law, Norma Little, Harvey, NB; grandchildren, Andrea Little (Mark), Harvey, NB, Aaron Little (Kelly), Fredericton, NB and Adon Briggs (Stephanie), Hawkshaw, NB; great-grandchildren, Jaydon Little (Laura), Jesse Little (Kelsey), both of Fredericton, NB and Mallory Little, Harvey, NB; sister-in-law, Roxie Hood, Magaguadavic, NB and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or funeral as per Anna’s request.
Special thanks to our homecare angels who made Anna’s last five years as comfortable and enjoyable as was possible. Special thanks also to the doctors, nurses and staff of 4 North East in caring for Anna with such compassion, respect and professionalism.
