It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ricky Mercer announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the age of 59 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his daughter Desiree (Shawn) and her mother Ursula; sister Sherry; brothers Billy (Pam) and Kerry; nieces and nephews Tierayn (Tyson), Dawson, and Gannon; great-nephew Jackson; long-time friend and home care provider Betty (Gary); his close friend Linda; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents William and Laura Mercer. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 2 p.m. from Country Haven Funeral Chapel with Reverend Wendy Lowden officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the SPCA.
