It is with great sadness that the families of Mr. Joseph William Payne announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long term care facility, in Corner Brook, NL, on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2015, at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 53 years marriage Annie nee Decker, his children: Lee Payne, Jarvis (Gail) Payne, Colleen Payne (Bryant Laing), Lisa (Faron) Blanchard, Jocelyn (Michael) Biggin, & Kelly Payne (Pauline Colbourne, his grandchildren: Robbie Lee (Chantille) Christopher, Jessica (James), Alex, Jason (Sabrina), Jenna (Billy), Andrea (Tim), Jeffery (Anne), Ryan (Hannah), Taylor, & Tia, his great grandchildren: Emma Mae, Emilee, Alyssa, Mason, Tristyn, Jansyn, & Hannah, his siblings: Sadie Humber, Willis (Elaine), & Christine (Gerald) Thistle, his special fury friend: Fred, Jospeh was predeceased by his parents: Chesley & Myrtle Payne, siblings: Margaret (Norman) Hynes, Hayward & Ambrose, his mother & father-in-law: Mabel & Thomas Decker, & brother-in-law: James Humber. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family, extended families, & friends. The family will be receiving family & friends from St. Mary's Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL, on Thursday, June 4th, 2015, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Friday, June 5th, 2015, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Saturday, June 6th, 2015, at 2: pm with Rev: Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Cow Head, NL. The family would like to thank the Dr's, nurse, & staff of the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility in Corner Brook, NL, for their care & compassion show their loved one Joseph William Payne.
