It is with great sadness that the family of the late Herman Wilkins announce his passing on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his wife Laura (nee Billard) of 44 years; sister Brenda; sisters-in-law: Susie Billard and Lena Billard; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Jane Wilkins, parents-in-law Thomas and Bertha Billard, brothers-in-law Wilfred Billard and Ronald Billard, sisters-in-law Susan and Lillian Billard. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Saturday, June 13 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, June 14 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 15 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Temple, O'Connell Drive with Majors Ron and Joyce Stuckless officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation or the Salvation Army Temple, O'Connell Drive.
