Shelda McVey, 60, of Kensington, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside.Born on April 27, 1955, in Kitimat, British Columbia. Dear daughter of Andre and Eleanor Theriault of Perth, Ontario. Loving mother of four children, son James and wife Sarah Paterson of Stratford, PEI; daughters Laura Morneau and partner Mark Fisher of Charlottetown, PEI; Samantha Morneau and partner Elanie Kifle of London, Ontario; and Allison Morneau and partner Logan Christensen of Calgary, Alberta. Grandmother to Shaelyn, Alexa, Ethan and Cash. Sister of Diane, Maureen and Bruce. Partner of Brian MacKay, Darnley, PEI.A potluck dinner to celebrate Shelda’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 17,from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Kensington Legion, 88 Victoria St., Kensington, PEI.The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the support and generosity of Shelda’s co-workers at Old Dutch Foods, friends far and near, as well as Dr. Vickerson and the staff at the Prince County Hospital.Donations in Shelda’s name may be made to the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry or the Anderson House.
