BUCKLEY, Richard Patrick – Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, January 28, 2009, Richard Patrick Buckley, age 80 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 54 years Mary Frances (nee O’Leary); his four children: Alice Collins (Bob), Mary Constantine (Fred), Madonna and John (Shirley); grandchildren: Shawn Foley, Matthew, Maria, David and Mark Constantine and Julia and Liam Buckley; sisters: Barbara Zeltins (Toronto), Esther, Eugenia; brother Leo (Florence); sisters-in-law: Gertrude O’Leary and Margaret Kenny (Ray), also a large circle of family and friends. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of CCU and CVICU at the Health Sciences Centre. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Pius X Church, Smithville Crescent. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
