DUPUIS, MARLENE FLORENCE "NONNIE"
1940 – 2015
On Sunday, June 21st, 2015, Marlene Florence Dupuis, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born August 12, 1940 in Saint John, NB, she is the daughter of the late Adam and Flo (Robichaud) Dupuis.
Marlene, or “Nonnie” as she was known to many, was a faithful parishioner at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Family was very important to her, they were very connected. She absolutely enjoyed each and every one of their visits. Marlene had an amazing memory for birthdates, childhood memories and family activities. Marlene was full of life and her family adored her. She loved going to Prince Edward Square, where everyone knew her and where she had a great time socializing. She will be missed.
Marlene is survived by her brothers Charles (Fran) Dupuis, Edward (Leslie) Dupuis, Ronnie (Cindy) Dupuis, Paul (Brenda) Dupuis; her sister Sheila (George) Cramm and several extended family members and friends.
Many thanks to her caregiver and friend, Flo Cote and also to the wonderful nurses and staff on the 5th floor at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Arrangements are under the professional direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) Honouring Marlene’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held Thursday June 25th, 2015 at 1 pm in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Westmorland Road, followed by a time of fellowship and light refreshment at the funeral home.
For those who wish, remembrances to the Cathedral renovation fund or the charity of choice, would be appreciated by the family.
