Passed peacefully away at her home in Island Cove on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, Irene E. Whelan age 55 years. Predeceased by her parents, William & Galvina Whelan, brother, William Jr, sister, Bernadine. Leaving to mourn are her daughter, Kerri (Philip), five grandchildren, Mackenzie, Destiny, Ashley, Adam (Caitlin), Andrew (Chloe), two great grandchildren, Shalynn & Brayden, brother, Fred (Tina), niece Nicole, partner, Clyde Crane, Clyde's son, Blair & family, also a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus. Funeral to take place on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from Broughton's Memorial Chapel Brigus. Cremation to follow, Inurnment to take place at a later date. No flowers by request donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association.
