MODIEN - The family of Earl Leonard Modien sadly announce his passing on June 30th in Lloydminster, SK, due to cancer. Earl was born June 21, 1937 in Shaunavon, SK. He attended Stonefarm School and school in Merit, BC as well as Creighton, SK. He started work with the Dept. of Highways at the tender age of 14 and was a petrol operator for many years, he also worked in the oilfields. In 1960 he married Golden Brawn. Earl leaves to mourn, his wife, Goldie;, son, Wade; and daughter, Cheryl; grandsons, Cody and Dallas; granddaughter, Sheena; Brother Glen (Annette) and family. He will be buried near his dad, Henry at Klara Cememtery, Simmie, SK at a later date.
