The family of the late Stanley Joseph Fry extend their sincerest gratitude to the many people who celebrated Stan's life after his passing. We were touched by the outpouring of love from those who attended Stan's wake and his memorial service and those who sent flowers and cards. We know that Stan would have loved to see his family and friends laughing, telling stories and remembering his life.
Thank you to everyone who supported Stan's immediate family through gifts of kind words, time and food. Your kindness and generosity helped us through a difficult and stressful time.
We also want to thank the staff at Chant's Funeral Home for their professionalism and compassion. A special thank you to Wendy Lynk who was an angel and a tremendous help to Stan's widow Frances. Thank you to Sheldon Chant and Aaron Lewis whose beautiful voices sang Stan to his final rest and the six pallbearers who carried Stan to his final resting place with strength and dignity. A special thank you to the Veterans of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 128 for the Last Post Commendation. Finally, we are indebted to Reverend Laura McCue whose humor and spirituality helped Stan's family and friends say our final good-bye.
May God bless all of those who loved Stan and helped his family through this difficult time.
