RICHARD, ROBERT PATRICK
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Robert “Bob” Patrick Richard which occurred at the Loch Lomond Village on Tuesday, July 7th, 2015. Born 1939, in Targettville, Kent County NB, he was the son of the late Anna and Joseph Richard and predeceased by his biological mother Mabel Soucoup (Leonard).
Bob worked as a Stationary Engineer for Oland’s Brewery for 32 years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and loved dogs.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Marjorie (Jones) of 50 years; sons Rob (Barb) of Saint John, Chris (Andrea) of Saint John; grandchildren Grant, Molly, Justin and Jordan; two half-brothers; two half-sisters; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides his parents, Bob was predeceased by one half-brother.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Thursday, July 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place from the St. James Anglican Church (2000 Loch Lomond Road) on Friday, July 10th at 11 a.m. followed by an interment at Fernhill Cemetery.
Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, St. James Anglican Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
