The family of the late Herb Snooks would like to thank all of our family, neighbours, and friends for your love and support given to us during Herb’s illness and passing.

Thank you for your many kind words and deeds, condolences, emails, cards, food, flowers, and donations to the food bank.

Special thank you to Dr. Chris Whitten and Wendy for your kindness and care. All the doctors, nurses, caregivers and staff at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. All the staff at the Palliative Care Unit who treated Herb and our family with such special care and kindness during Herb’s passing.

Thank you to all the people who made Herb’s funeral so beautiful. Rev Wendy Lowden for the wonderful church service. Thank you to the Oakland ladies choir and the First United Church choir and Bernadette Park for the beautiful solo as well as Gary Graham for providing the music. Thank you Fillatres Funeral Home for your professionalism and compassion.

A special thank you to the Massey Drive Foresty Office - Herb considered you his extended family. Also thank you to headquarters office in Corner Brook. Thank you to the Provincial Forestry Dept. The Honor Guard was so beautiful. Thank you to the staff of the Fire Protection Dept. for the beautiful special send off for Herb. He would have been proud.

Thank you to Herb’s very special biker friends who honored him with a motorcade to his final resting place. Thank you so much for honoring Herb.

Thank you to our families for your love and support during Herb’s illness and passing, spending countless hours by his side in the hospital. Special thanks to family who travelled far to be with us. We pray Herb is at peace into the mystic.
