It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Sarah Carter wish to announce her passing. Sarah passed peacefully away with her family by her side after a short brave and heroic battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband Charles W. Carter, son Robert W. Carter, mother & father Elizabeth & Henry Martin, siblings Bill Martin, Herb Martin & Isabel Anthony. Leaving to mourn and cherish her memories son Charles Carter (Toronto), Daughter Cindy Carter & Shelly Noonan (Toronto), Daughter In law Carol Ann Carter-Fitzgerald (St Johns), Grandchildren Bradley, Dustin, Jillian, Eva & Matthew, sister Mary Sturge, a very special friend and companion Cliff Langdon and a large number of family and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday, July 13 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from St. Mary the Virgin on Tuesday, July 14 at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can kindly be made to the SPCA. A special thank you from "Sarah" and her family for some very special love and care received from Dr. Peter Noel, Helen Burke, Lisa Maidment, Tara Pittman, Barbara & Raymond Noonan, Herb & Brenda Carter, Barb French, Cat Woman, Stella, sweet little AnnieKate & the Nurses at the Leonard A Miller Center Palliative Care Unit.
