Claire Maxwell
Melba "Claire" Maxwell of Salt Springs, Pictou County passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Freda (MacLeod) Munro.
Claire was a member of St. Lukes United Church, Salt Springs and was a school bus driver for many years until retirement.
She will be dearly missed by son, Halley MacRae Maxwell, Truro; daughter, Donna (Bob) Maxwell-Fleet, Amherst; grandchildren, Lori (Andrew) Matthews, Port Moody, B.C.; Carson (Marie) McCullough, Six Mile Brook; Janna McCullough, Timberlea; great grandchildren, Caleb McCullough-Smith, Violet and Micha McCullough and William McCullough; and sister in law, Sybil Higgins, New Glasgow.
Claire was predeceased by her husband Laurie, sister-in-law Joy Robley (Harold) and brother-in-law Ross Higgins .
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitations or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Sylvester with Rev. Jim Webber-Cook officiating.
