We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father on July 15, 2015, James William Collins, age 54 years. Jim is predeceased by his parents: Graham and Violet; his sister, Cynthia; his parents-in-law: Pat and Ann; and his brothers-in-law: John Warford and Frank Sears. Leaving to feel their terrific loss are his best buddy, Aces; his wife of 34 years, Deb (nee Condon), his son Jimmy (Jessi) and his future Aussie grandbaby; his daughter, Sharon (Mark); Jim's brothers and sisters: Ange, Pearl (Alex), Jean (Max), Graham (Cathy), Kevin (Rhonda), Blue (Karen), Cecilia (Mike) and Johnny (Susan); Jim's in-laws: Diane (Bernard), Elaine, Joe (Trish), Ronnie (Linda) and Tommy (Trudy). Jim was loved by so many nieces and nephews, and so many, many friends. Also left to mourn his BMW Motorcycle and a Yamaha V-Star. Jim was a long time employee of Modern Paving Ltd., and will be greatly missed by all of his coworkers and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19, from 12noon-9pm. Funeral service will take place from Barrett's Funeral Chapel, on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 10:00am, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
